Description
The mosaic panel symbolically represents the maritime history and the image of historical Arkhangelsk. The sketch was created by the marine painter Sergei Zvyagin. Specialists from the Plant of Monumental and Decorative Art assembled 23 panorama modules, 21 meters long, from thousands of elements of multi-colored smalt. This unique work of monumental art was created to mark the 440th anniversary of Arkhangelsk.
